Hi 2Aians.

Just a few days back, half e class went for chalet togetherrrrrr! Okay, I can say, it was greeeeat! :D Tan Yong Kian shall blog in detail bout what e 20+ of us did during e 4D3N, heeee ;D

1st Day:
Met @ Cck, then trained to Pasir Ris. Some went PC Bunk, some waited for I, Peisi, Dans, Jiaqi etc and MOST IMPORTANTLY, Zhenyi and her mom. Soon, we checked in! & we put out stuff down. Then played cards for awhile, then we went down to start e fire for BBQ!

Whoohooo, so highhhhh :) Starting fire was VERY easy with Shaotao and Thoven around. They saved e day haha. :) Then we bbq-ed and bbq-ed food. Some 4I-ians were good to help clear a bit of e food. Hiakhiak.

Then teachers came and told us GHOST STORIES. Very scary pls! I left e group and went walking around, meanwhile taking manymany pictures. Haha. :}

After that @ around 9pm, time to clean up! :D Then went back to chalet and we played cards! Haha, niceeee. Especially with $$$ it's niceeee :D The others were in another room playing cards too! But e bets were somehow different, us was 50cents theirs was 10-30 cents I think. Haha, funneh :)

Then first night, a couple of us didn't sleep @ all, and just played and played. There was PSP too! Haha. :) Then @ 6am, we rested a lil', before going for breakfast.

2nd day:
After our breakfast @ McDonald's, we went as a whole(except 3 flowers), to ESCAPEEEE! Haha, it's a must-visit everytime we go chalet haha. :) So,we sat on manymany rdes. Rainbow, flipper, pirateship, wet&wild etcetc very niceeeee ;D Too bad we didn't take any pictures like super spoiler.

Played e horse game too! And we won e whole set of monkeys! 4 of 'em. Woolala so fun! ;D

After awhile went back, a few of 'em cycled. While I just walked with them. :) Soon, we went to play @ e playground, so funnnnn ;D Swings are e best.

Nighttime, we played cards again! And few of them played Twister, and claimed it was fun. Haha, Twister rly tests one's flexbility haha. :)

Right, then after midnight we couldn't take it anymore. WE SLEPTTTTTTT :D

3rd day:
We woke up @ 7+am, we woke e rest up and we went for breakfast @ Foodcourt ;D It was raininb very heavily, so we couldn't go anywhere else but stay in e chalet. Therefore, we played mahjonggggg! ; D Like ohmy, Mahjong is my favourite! :D

Wait, before that I played Twister too, and it rocked trucklots! :D

After Mahjong we played cards too! Oh @ about 8pm a group of us went for movies: The Golden Compass. Okay, I think Samuel's a great pangseh-er. Know what he did? We walked for about 10 minutes out already and he said, "I suddenly don't feel like watching alre." And walked off very briskly, leaving e remainder stunned and angry.

HECKCARE.

Haha, then we watched e movie. It's a ok-ok for me but others gave their thumbs up Idk why haha.

Then e people in e other room slept while we played cards for a lil' while. Played Murderer! Super funnnn. :) Colleen was always e murderer so lucky! I wanna be e murderer but didn't. Then I wenta sleep @ 4.30am while a few others stayed up till like 6am?! Haha.

4th day:
Okay, so it was e last day. Everyone packed up and everything. Went for breakfast @ Longjohn's, then trained back home! HOME SWEET HOME! I bet all of you guys missed your bed right? Haha. So comfy. :}

Also, I hope none of you, except me, lost anything. Haha ;)

We, 2Aians(half) sure did enjoy e chalet right! :D :D :D

Dear 2A'07,
Chalet's coming soon! 3rd - 6th December (I'm repeating this for e 10th time lest anyone of you forgets). This chalet is strictly for all 2Aians and subject teachers who've taught 2A'07/1A'06. Henceforth, anyone that fits into that category is allowed to go for e chalet.

Hello all! This is Hwai Yi posting yea. Its our 3rd day in beijing and the weather here is perfect. Much cooler than Singapore and more comfortable! Here is my personal posts daily so that you can liao jie qing kuang. If you have been to my blog, you all should have already seen these. ^^ Do enjoy and will bring you more updates tomorrow. Reporting from Beijing, Lim Hwai Yi bao dao ;D

Woke up 0515am in the morning, showered and washed up, all ready to go. My baggage was not that big or bulky so it just went fine. Arrived at the airport at around 0650, a little late though however was still in time. Punctuality should always be practiced at all times so as not to delay the whole crowd waiting for just one person. It is at least better to be early than to be late. Therefore, we should make it a habit to be punctual at all times. This is my first learning point this morning.

Took off at about 0850 local time and overall the flight was smooth and peaceful. Unfortuntely, we had a little issue here. Pei Si accidentally lost her mobile phone. Here, there is also another learning point to take note. When travelling, be sure to have all personal belongings properly kept and be sure that it is in a safe place. The world is so big, who knows where to start finding when you loose something. So what I have known, when travelling, do remember to guard your belongings properly.

Safely landed at around 1850 local time and waited a long long time before we could clear the immigration. This puts our paitience to a test. We have to wait paitiently for our turn before being released. This is a process everybody has to go through when you travel overseas. Therefore, we have to be patient and wait for our turn before acheiving what you want.

I have also noticed when we were queuing up to clear the customs, most of us started taking off their winter jackets. We were told to put it on before we get out to the baggage claim so that we would not look flustered. Indeed this is true. The advice from our teachers, we should all take it into consideration. How hot can it be? If we learn how to bear with it for a little while, this shows that you are fit and "well trained" to go overseas. Another lesson to take into consideration.

Departed from the airport at 1830, and headed on the express way ( guo men di yi lu 1992-1993 built to welcome guest for the 2008 Beijing Olympics) There was a little welcome ceromony for us when we arrived at Beijing 54 Middle School at 1850. Such warm welcomes from our friends and teachers from Beijing 54 Middle School left us all excited and all filled with anticipation. This kind of welcome is really hard to get these days. So therefore, we should treasure the days we have together and spend it fruitfully.

With the details of today's lessons learnt and happenings, I send my regards to my friends in Singapore!

This is a piece of reflection i had to do. I was too lazy to write it in hand, so i decided to type it out hehehe... Anyway, here are some information about Beijing. I took down some notes when the tour guild gave us a short introduction of Beijing. Hope I got it all right.

Today is my second official day in beijing! Today went to two different places, Yi He Yuan and Yuan Ming Yuan. Really majestic places especially for the latter. Yi He Yuan also known as summer palace, is basically a chinese garden situated in the outskirts of beijing. The emperor' s house is there too. There are alot of bridges and hills weaving around a lake. This lake takes a special shape. It has the shape of the map of China, as said to be shaped like a bird's wing. Truely a remarkable landmark which marks its history of very long time ago.

Yuan Ming Yuan is another park with a ancient relic site next to it. The site was invaded by the French and English men in the 1860s in early October ( the whole process of destroying the site was from October 6th till October 19th) The site marks a certain value of china's history as many important articles and treasure was stored at yuan ming yuan. The whole place was thorn down and burnt down by the French and English and only little bits of stone rubble was left. After destroying the place, the invaders left. This is a really cruel way to deal with what they cannot acheive. It is not fair and unjust to tear down property that does not belong to them.Many precious articles up till now have not been recovered as the english soldiers stole them and distributed it world wide. Some have even been smashed into pieces. The area of fountains and pools are now left with large chunks of rocks and stones. Really a true and magnificient place.

This marks the end of today's entry. My legs are all aching now as we walked a lot today. We walked round the whole yi he yuan (round the lake) and walk even more at yuan ming yuan. Tomorrow will be shopping spree and kboxing day. Today was history, tomorrow is now. Oldern vs Modern.

I saw the bird's nest too today when we were on the way to yi he yuan. The official 2008 Beijing Olympic Stadium. It is really a huge site and it will be worked to full force in 2008.

Writing in again today. Today is shopping day! I went with a few people to few shopping areas in beijing. I bought a few things including a pair of black gloves which cost me 20 rmb (S$4) and two real adidas jackets 750 rmb in total (S$70 for one and S$80 got another) Pretty cheap though as you cant get this sort of prices in singapore. They are all brand new and are pretty nice in design. Both of the jackets are black and white. One special thing about the second one is that it is a limited edition version and the more special thing is that one side of its sleave is black and the other is white. It is really very cool!

We went to places like xi dan, xiu shui jie and shang pin zhe kou. I also took the Beijing Subway for the very first time. Technology has really changed the world. It is something very much like Singapore's MRT however, the inside of the train is much more high tech than those of singapore's. There is a automatic machine that will give directions and instructions when you board the train.

At Xu Shui Jie, I bought a pair of gloves. My previous pair of gloves that I brought was a little too thick, so it might not be too comfortable when carrying things. Its original price was 120 rmb but after MaTeng bargained, we got it down to 20 rmb. Considered quite a good deal. See, this is the art of bargaining.

At around 5pm, we joined Samuel, Wan Teng, Yan Fu and Kah Fong at a KTV. It is not really a KTV, something like KBOX in Singapore. The 3hour package counts down to only S$5 with free buffet and free flow of drinks. The room is much bigger and comfortable, with a large plasma screen. There is also a service men at each room. What a wonderful experience!

That's it for today. Will be in school the whole day to "shang ke"! Hope I can learn new and more things tomorrow!

Hello 2A-ians :D :D This blog is quite dead eh . LOL . Time flies.

It's been 2 years since we've met as a whole . From strangers to friends , or even best friends . These 2 years , I must say , are indeed fruitful and worth-learning years for 2A . Put those lil disagreements aside , 2A definitely shares memorable and unforgettable times (: It's really heart-warming to see this class of 40 go through e good times and hard times together (: Especially it's showtime,cultural fiesta, mid autumn , bilingual competition etc , all these events definitely managed to bond 2A together (: This class only happens once , and I believe these 2 years have been fruitful to everyone yeah ? Oh yeah , congrats to TeoPeiSi and TanShaoTao for getting e exemplary student award keke ^^ . And of course,2A for getting e best class award once again <3

Also , I wanna thank all e teachers who've taught 2A/1A before,esp MrKoh and MissLim . They're e ones who pulled us up before we would sink deeper in . I'll never forget MrKoh's inspirational talks and MissLim's advices ! :DD Thanks to e teachers , who've made e effort to bond 2A together , who've cared and helped us in any way <3 They forgive and forget our mistakes , and make our lessons wonderful! <3 2A will never forget you!

The hols have starteddd! Have you guys started on your homework? Hawhaw! Have you guys started on your revision? Heehee! Fact is, I doubt many studied anything bout sec3 topics luh! Haha. Just my point of view okeh, keekee.

Vell vell, I presume everyone's made their decisions @ Kranji webpage and chose your subject combinations for 2008. Hmm it is impossible for everyone in 2A to be in e same class once again, everyone has their desired course to enter into. So, yeah. Separation is inevitable. Take it easy people :D

Class Chalet will be up in a month's timeeee! I know manymany people are zo excited bout it. :D Myself, Lauraz, Peisi and otherszzzzzzz! Woolala! This is so anticipated. Let me fill you guys w some details bout e chalet. :D

2A shall never be forgotten! ♥

Oh wow, let me count. It has been nearly 2 months since this blog is neglected, abandoned and left to rot! It's so sinful not to update blogs, especially when 40 people share this blog. If one could blog every day, then the blog should be updated almost everyday right? Hahah! Keh, I'm not telling 2Aians to update everyday, but try to okeh! :D

I stress again and again, if you want to blog desperately @ this blog, GET THE USER&PASS FROM EITHER ME/JOCELYN!

It's like 75% of this blog's entries are from Jcoelyn and I. It's the class' blog right? Yes 2A will be united foreverrrr! ♥

Hookay, I shall update about a few school events that have occured in school during these 2 months and those memorable things that happened/I remembered.

What first came to my mind was Cultural Fiesta! This year, it was renamed to A* Rhapsody, a series or performances and competitions from students from Kranji. Definitely(ahahha!), 2A is selected to perform. More than half the class was involved I think, ranging from Streetdance to Flag-twirling.

HAHAHA, Streetdancers dd REALLY GR8! & as a result, they emerged the Champions! Yes Out of Bounds all the wayyyyy! :D :D Those stunts were awesomeeeeeee! I lahve I lahve.

Then it was flag-twirling, well I think it went fine, at least it was smooth and almost flawless. Hahha! Perhaps it's my own team, that's why I inject so many compliments. Hahha, but comments from people supported my views too! Hahha. ;D Ahya anythinggg! I <3!>

Hmmm, Simin took part in the Kranji Idol too! Fantastic job girl! To perform infront of thousands of people and even GuestsOfHonours and the principals etc. Though you got Third position, I think your courage and determination has already reassured your talent in singing. Continue to excel in Choir as well as studies okay! I know you're a darn smart girl! :DD

Then the next I can think of is SYFiesta! Once again, many people in our class participated in this grand event where it was held @ Republic Polytechnic. All the performing arts CCA did really greeeeat! But I myself loved the performance by Dance mosttttt! They danced to 'Dolls' which were supreme loveeee! <3>

Band members from our class was fab too! Though I couldn't remember the songs you all played, but I know they're all really nice songs. They were all soothing music to my ears! I loved it a lot! :D

Next was Choir. Samuel, Jieyong, Jiexin, Xiuxuan and Simin(I think there's only 5) took part in it and I swear it was really nice! It created a big impact on me upon listening to their voices. It was really marvellous! The little hairs on my hands stood up for their wodnerful voices! 56271747289 claps for that! If there isn't ELDDS maybe I'll not quit Choir okay! :D :D

Hmmm, ELDDS. Hwaiyi and I didn't get a chance to act in this skit as this skit was an all-girls skit. Well it was greeeeat! I'm sure I can get many many people to agree with me! People like Nadia etc. Hahah but I must admit that the story is a little bit difficlt to apprehend when you've first watched it. So if you guys didn't get what the skit was saying it's okay. Hahah! :D :D

Yesssss this post is getting long. But nothing's gonna make me end this post coz there's still one more major event that happened this month! :D

Hmmm, it was wowness! 2A took part in the Fashion parade given the theme "Pre-Raffles Period". Nadia, Daniel Lim, irwin and Keith were involved in this and a gr8 pity I didn't see them! It was sucha pity. For the costume of the lion(Nadia's), I must really thank Peiling for that! Lady you're great do you know that? :D & the suit was so golden and sparklish!

After that it was the Band's performance. Again I didn't get to watch it coz I was getting prepared for Flag-Twirling hahah! But I did hear screams and cheers coz I think Yvonne Cheng from 3E threw the 'thing' on her hand & manaegd to get it hahah! It's not easy okay! :D :D Standing ovation for that!

Wohwee, then was Flag-Twirling time. Wasn't that good but it was really funny. Fits of giggles could be heard when my pants dropped! HAHAHAHHA. Even I myself was laughing away too. But everything's over already! Quite funny though. :D

2A won in the FASHION PARADE COMPETITION, scoring the highest! 80/100! It was fabulouzzz I think everyone loved seeing Nadia in that DAMN GOLD and SPARKLISH costume done by Peiling Tan! HAHHAHA :D Dang great dang great dang great hahah! :D

Yeh, and lastly in the Singapore Map Formation, I am glad to see almost everyone take part, though not enthusiastically, but willingly, hahah! 2A is the love of my life! :D(man I miss Xanga smilies)

This Saturday(dated 23rd June), there will be class BBQ for all 2Aians @ Changi Beach. E class committees hope that all 2Aians can go as this is considered as e FIRST gathering 2A has ever organised. I shall write it more clearly for everyone to see.

Venue: BBQ pit @ Changi Beach
Attire to be in: 2A class tee!!!!!!!!!!

Hello fellow 2aians. This blog's dead for 2 months already. Hm, you've all received your results long ago and whether is it good or not so good, fret not, coz there's still term 4/semester 2 you can work hard for! :D

Always remember to treat this holiday seriously. 2 choices, play like crazyand then start mugging after hols or start mugging already! Haha, for me, I'm slacking off like I-don't-know-what. Yah, this is my choice. And choices have consequences. Hahah :D

I think I'm talking crap. There're several thnigs I wanna say. I wish to change to e blogskin for this blog. But I've no ideas coz practically we haven't taken any pitures together w e WHOLE CLASS. Secondly, e class photo's not out yet. & Thoven was absent for e class photo. What a pity. Mm, maybe I'll just change e borders and make e background black. Is that alright?

Hi 2a-liens. Since so long yet nobody post a new entires, why not let me sacrify my time. Today would not be a long post so will be easier for your to read!! I'm not sure whether I am using broken english, so please forgive my mistakes. I come to tell your one story which I think your must had heard before. But nevermind, let me tell the A-liens again.
There is once 2 friends travel together. one day, one of his friend offend him and make him very angry.However, he write all the anger in him on the sand and let the sea water wash it away. Another day, his friend help him to solve one problem. He is very ¸Ð¼¤ and make a marking on the stone so that he will rmb it forever.

People ask him why does he do that? He tell us that friends are only once in a life time. If now you dun treasure it, it will gone forever. Who will know whether ur next life will be able to meet that person again. So rather than rmb all the bad point, why not think of his gd point and live happily without any regard....

Forgive someone and the bitter inside your heart will be waste away!!

Heyyou, hahha. Last Friday was Nadia's birthday. & I'm glad Peisi initiated to sing her a birthday song today after recess. I bet Nadia's really touched and elated about it. Let's wish her all the best for everything she does and may she rock as a chairlady :D

Btw I realized I haven't added a category for the class commitees. It's kinda honoured, you know, to see your name on the commitees, hierarchy (pops out S'pore as a country of equality) and you'll feel proud of yourself.

But, one must bear heavier responsibilties when one takes on a higher position. So the people with the higher position pays, hahah. Sorry if I'm typing very formally here. But blogging @ the class blog, I've to be solemn and seriouz, lawls. :D

& today was History Common Test, & I heard a few who couldn't finish your last few sentences of the SEQ. No matter what it is, I really do hope you'll push this aside and take the remaining time to study & revise for your Biology test (in preparation for MidYear paper) tomorrow.

Ms Ho already said the paper's gonna be difficult, so I hope you guys will study well. :D Well, I myself haven't started with my revision yet I'm saying all this. I guess actions really do speak LOUDER than words. :D

Hello fellow 2Aians.
The first term's officially over and the term holiday's here.
Okay, I'm sure there must be some of you who were unhappy over your results in Term1, including me.
But everything's already over right?
Let bygones be bygones,
rather than sitting down on your seat,
thinking about how lousy you fared for your results,
why don't you guys start planning your days and plans for Term 2?
For instance, you may construct a timetable whereby you follow it daily everyday.
I'm sure it'll help.
Or maybe you can do self-revision on one subject daily,
or even two or three.
It's up to you to decide and up to you to study.
It's all your choice.

I'm sure mr.koh's words had knocked some logical sense into everyone (maybe not all but perhaps 90%)s' minds, so I really do hope we, 2A, as a class, can work doubly hard (& @ the same time, smart!) for Term 2, & prove once again to subject teachers that we deserve to be the BEST CLASS. ;D

All of you agree? I'm sure you do. :D

Alright, tomorw's English Oral Examinations, the first examination conducted for mid-year. I'm sure everyone's nervous about it. Remember, don't panic no matter what. Take in deep breaths and relax whenever you come across a difficult question questioned by the oral examinor, I'm sure everyone can overcome their fears.
